A Shoal of sardine. Noumea, New Caledonia

Small fish must be in shoals to defend against big fish. It is not just clumped together, but it seems to be another life form. It could be transformed a shoal of small fish from an apparent form of a big fish into a marine creature. And each and every one of fish have a clue which parts they play respectively in the marine creature. Like a story of Swimmy, main character of the same name of Leo Leoni's picture book, played role as an eye being applied his body color black in the red shoal.
